Teen Counselling is an ‘adolescent friendly’ service and as such, our aim is to enable young people and their parents or carers deal with difficulties, within the context of the family.

We offer families/carers who access the service the time and space in which to work through or resolve the issues that contribute to their distress with the support of a counselling team.

Counselling Team

We provide a professional non-judgemental and friendly service using highly trained and experienced Teen Counsellors to help Teens through troubled times.

Teen Counselling provides a number of Resources for Teens, Parents, Carers and Professionals and we also provide training courses using the Positive Systemic Practice model of Teen Counselling

From April 2014 Teen Counselling’s Administrative Centre has been moved to 20 Arran Quay. All telephone and written referrals to Teen Counselling are now being taken in this centre and appointments for counselling are offered to those for whom this is a suitable location, from both the North and the South side of the city.

This beautiful building on Arran Quay (the only building on the quays with a front garden!) can be accessed very easily by bus and by Luas -get off at the Smithfield stop. The building is located directly beside St. Paul’s Church.   Teen Counselling share this building with the new Crosscare College which offers opportunities for learning many new skills in a supportive and pressure free environment.
